Suggested Serving Recipe

Pan-Seared Greenland Halibut Steak with Paprika

Soft and delicate Greenland Halibut pan-fried till golden, seasoned with paprika and topped with a splash of lemon juice for a tangy, light and fresh flavour

Ingredients

  • Emerald Greenland Halibut Steak
  • Olive Oil
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Coarse Salt
  • Cilantro
  • Lemon Slice
  • Paprika

Method

  1. Season both sides of the Emerald Greenland Halibut Steak with coarse salt.
  2. Coat a non-stick pan surface with olive oil and put on medium-high heat.  Once the pan is hot place in the Halibut Steak and sear for about 3 minutes until it becomes golden. Flip the Halibut steak and put in a portion of butter.
  3. Continue cooking the other side, while using a spoon to scoop up the butter bast over the fish continuously to imbue flavours.
  4. Remove the halibut steak from the pan and place on a plate. Add finely chopped cilantro and paprika to season. Serve with a lemon to be squeezed before consumption to add a tangy flavour.
